THE WILLOW RUN POETRY BOOK AWARD

This is the list of the semi-finalists, finalists and (coming soon!) winner of the 2019 Willow Run Poetry Book Award.  The next round of submissions for the Willow Run Award deadlines February 20, 2020. The guidelines for the Willow Run Award can be found here.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who submitted their work to us.  This  is only the second year of our Willow Run Award, and we have been blown away by the remarkable work that we are receiving.  It makes our work harder, but certainly offers much pleasure in reading.  This is the list of the semi-finalists and finalists; please be sure to follow our blog, since we will be posting the name of the 2019 Willow Run winner shortly.

The 2018 Willow Run Poetry Book Award

Our winner is Carol Tyx, for her wonderful poetry collection about a prisoner uprising at the Angola Prison (more detail coming about Carol and her work shortly!), Remaking Achilles: Slicing Into Angola’s History

We want to congratulate Carol, who will receive $1,000 in prize money, and whose winning manuscript will be published by Hidden River Press, an imprint of Hidden River Publishing.
