Hidden River Review Trilogy Awards: Non-Fiction, Poetry and Very Short Fiction

The Trilogy Award Submissions for 2017 are now closed.  The deadline for the next round of submissions will be December 15, 2018.

A prize of $1,000 and publication in the forthcoming Hidden River Review of Arts & Letters will be given annually to the winners in each category of our Hidden River Review Trilogy Award: poetry, non-fiction and very short fiction. Please indicate clearly in which category you are submitting in. (For example, the submission should read Fiction: and Title of your work.) Your cover letter should clearly state: Trilogy Award: Fiction, or Trilogy Award: NF, or Trilogy Award: Poetry. Using the online submission system, submit your previously unpublished work up to 25 pages of non-fiction (and a synopsis if submitting a book excerpt), up to 5 poems, or a work of short fiction between 300 to 3,000 words with a $17 entry fee by December 15, 2018. Please be sure to include a brief bio in your cover letter. We request all work be uploaded to Submittable.

We accept simultaneous submissions, only asking that you notify us immediately should your work be accepted for publication elsewhere. We also accept multiple submissions, but each must be submitted separately through Submittable at the link above. All our award competitions are open to artists and writers in English from around the globe.
